I’d like to invite you to join us for our Meal Planning challenge during September. If you’ve been following along for a while, this will be our fourth challenge. (We started with the clean sink challenge, then the load a day challenge, and the morning routine challenge.) The challenges really help me stay motivated and focused on doing a little each day to keep our household running smoothly plus it really helps to develop good habits.
If you’d rather start with one of the other challenges, then definitely do that. I find it really helpful to be in the habit of washing the dishes every night before I go to bed prior to working on following a meal plan. It’s so much easier to cook dinner when I’m not starting out with a sink full of dirty dishes. I’m even creating a September printable for each of the challenges, and I’ll be putting them inside the Sweet Life Planner Club that’s coming on September 1.
The challenge is to meal plan however often works for your family. Most people plan weekly, but there’s other options that also work well. Then each day that you follow the plan, put a sticker or checkmark on that day! If you want to discuss options or need some advice, be sure to hop over to our Facebook group. I’m also planning to do some live Meal Planning sessions on Periscope throughout the month. (I’m @iheartplanners on Periscope). I think it will be fun to plan together, and I can also answer any questions you have.
If you’re not sure where to start with meal planning, or if you’d like to try something new, here’s a couple very successful methods I’ve used in the past:

I have two versions of this month’s challenge printable. There’s one for just focusing on meal planning, and there’s one to keep track of your meal planning plus the other challenges we’ve done so far.
